Choice AU 1850 Double Eagle
1850 $20 AU55 PCGS. The popular first-year 1850 double eagle, here represented by a Choice AU specimen with a few scattered abrasions and light wear, with some gray-gold haze on the high points. Seldom seen so fine, as the coins seem to have circulated extensively for the most part; the average certified survivor only grades Choice XF or thereabouts.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268F, PCGS# 8902, GSID# 9785)
