1850 $20 AU58 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. This lustrous,
near-Mint example is an excellent representative of the first year
of production, with bright yellow surfaces. Both sides are
minimally abraded. This important piece represents the beginning of
the double eagle denomination, created in response to California
