Conditionally Scarce 1851-O Double Eagle, AU50
1851-O $20 AU50 PCGS. The 1851-O is available with little difficulty through the XF grade level but becomes scarce in AU. Mint State coins are quite rare. The yellow-gold surfaces of this AU specimen retain luster in the recessed areas of the appropriately defined motifs and reveal distributed minute marks that do not detract.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268J, PCGS# 8905, GSID# 9844)
