Description
Desirable 1852 Liberty Twenty, MS62
1852 $20 MS62 PCGS. All of the Type One twenties, except for the few treasure dates, are major condition rarities in Mint State grades, and the 1852 is no exception. Just over 2 million coins were minted, yet only a few hundred survive in all Mint State grades, including just two or three dozen that grade MS62 or finer. This representative has bright yellow luster with frosty gold surfaces and wispy orange toning. The strike is sharp and the overall eye appeal is excellent. Population: 27 in 62, 11 finer (10/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268K, PCGS# 8906, Greysheet# 9787)
Weight: 33.44 grams
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
