1852 Double Eagle, MS63
Impressive Gold Rush Era Twenty

1852 $20 MS63 PCGS. Ex: Simpson. Struck during the Gold Rush era, this Philadelphia Mint double eagle is quite possibly struck from newly mined California gold. This lovely piece has splendid yellow-gold surfaces and excellent design definition. An eye appealing selection. Population: 13 in 63 (2 in 63+), 4 finer (1/21).(Registry values: N4719)
