Exceptional 1852-O Twenty, AU53
1852-O $20 AU53 PCGS. This is an exceptional example with mirrored, prooflike fields and minor surface marks that are entirely trivial. The green-gold appearance is a direct result of the California mined gold that supplied most of the raw material for the New Orleans Mint during the first few years of the 1850s.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268L, PCGS# 8907, GSID# 9845)
