1853/2 $20 XF45 PCGS. FS-301, formerly FS-008. The diagnostic die lump below the R of LIBERTY is prominent, and the base of the underdigit 2 is evident within the lower loop of the 3 in the date. This evenly struck Choice XF better date double eagle has only two marks of any consequence, near obverse star 11 and on the nose.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268M, PCGS# 8909, GSID# 9846)
