Rare in Mint State

1853 $20 MS61 NGC. The 1853 double eagle is infrequently encountered in Mint State grades, and when it is seen is usually in the lower Uncirculated levels. This MS61 offering displays orange-gold surfaces with hints of apricot and light green that contain considerable luster. Excellent definition is apparent on the design elements. Census: 17 in 61, 18 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)
