1855-S Twenty Dollar, AU55
1855-S $20 AU55 NGC. The 1855-S double eagle is mostly seen in Very Fine or Extremely Fine condition. This Choice AU example displays a good amount of luster on its brass-gold surfaces that are imbued with traces of reddish-gold. The design elements are well defined. A few minute marks are visible, as are some faint hairlines that show up under high magnification.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268X, PCGS# 8916, GSID# 9854)
