    Scarcer Type One P-Mint Issue

    1856 $20 AU50 NGC. Well-struck and lightly worn, with a smooth, problem-free appearance for the grade, and attractive, bright red-gold coloration. An uncommon P-mint issue in all grades, the 1856 is generally not found above the XF-AU level and Mint State pieces are rarely offered.
    Ex: Palm Beach Signature (Heritage, 3/2005), lot 7124.
