Description

1856-S $20 AU50 PCGS. Luster gently glimmers from protected areas, and the surfaces lack the notable abrasions that are often encountered on large gold coins. The mintmark was weakly punched into the working die, and it is faint although complete. Faint die clash lines (as made) are noted near Liberty's ear and behind her neck.(Registry values: N1793)
