Description

Attractive AU58 1857-S Twenty

1857-S $20 AU58 ICG. A significant amount of mint luster remains on each side of this attractive 1857-S twenty. It is impossible to know for certain if this coin came from the salvage of S.S. Central America, but most of those coins were still in mint condition. This is a strongly struck example that has light reddish patina over each side and a few handling marks are present that are consistent with the grade.(Registry values: N1793)
