1857-S $20 Bold S MS63 PCGS. Ex: S.S. Central America. SSCA 3891. Variety 20B. The mintmark is deeply entered into the die, thus the "Bold S" name for the reverse die, described by Robert Evans in the July 2000 issue of the Numismatist. This is a beautiful olive-gold example with dynamic luster, a precise strike, and smooth surfaces. Housed in its initial gold label holder.(Registry values: P2)
