Bold S 1857-S Double Eagle, MS64
An S.S. Central America Treasure
1857-S $20 Bold S MS64 PCGS. Variety 20B. Ex: S.S.
Central America. SSCA 3852. Unlike many Central America
twenties, this piece has deep yellow color over the vast majority
of the surfaces, not just the margins. Intensely lustrous with
several light scrapes in the portrait area and a zone of whitish
cloudiness just to the left of Liberty's coronet. Comes with
certificate of authenticity and faux-book case.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 70001, Base PCGS# 8922, Greysheet# 221567)
