1857-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Variety 20B, Bold S. Ex: S.S. Central America, SSCA 4531. This exquisitely detailed Select example still shines on the sesquicentennial of the sinking of the ill-fated Central America. The sun-gold fields and straw-gold devices are largely clean, though a cluster of small marks is noted to the right of the date.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2696, PCGS# 8922, GSID# 9884)
