1857-S $20 Spiked Shield, Variety 20A, MS64 PCGS. Ex:
S.S. Central America, SSCA 2151. This glittering Spiked
Shield Central America treasure coin may have achieved an
even finer grade were it not for a couple of thin marks on
Liberty's cheek. The fields are clean, and the frosty luster is
exceptional. Yellow-gold interiors cede to tangerine borders, and
the design elements are razor-sharp. Among the 100 Greatest U.S.
Coins (#97 in 6th edition).Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2017), lot 5522.(Registry values: P2)
