1858-S $20 AU55 NGC. A wide band of luster connects the reverse legends and outlines individual obverse stars. An original Choice AU twenty with relatively smooth surfaces aside from a slender mark on the cheek. Struck one year too late to participate in the famous hoard of the denomination recovered from the S.S.
