1858-S $20 AU58 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. A
well-detailed, mostly lustrous near-Mint coin with satiny
yellow-gold surfaces and remarkably few abrasions. Eye appeal is
outstanding for the issue and grade. Finer 1858-S double eagles are
rarely offered and frequently exhibit unsightly abrasions. This
piece includes a wooden S.S. Republic presentation box,
Odyssey Marine Exploration disc, and certificate of
