Attractive 1859-S Double Eagle, AU53
1859-S $20 AU53 NGC. The production of this issue was a generous amount exceeding 636,000 coins, although most of them circulated. This AU53 specimen boasts attractive luster over orange-gold surfaces with only light field chatter but no singular abrasions. The reverse is rotated about 20 degrees clockwise.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269C, PCGS# 8928, GSID# 9896)
