1859-S $20 AU58 NGC. The 1859-S double eagle, with a mintage of over 600,000 pieces, is readily available through Extremely Fine, and can be located in About Uncirculated with some searching and patience. Mint State coins are rare. This AU58 specimen retains a good amount of luster on the peach-gold surfaces. Well struck, with just a few minute marks.
