Lustrous 1860 Double Eagle, AU58
1860 $20 AU58 NGC. Considerable luster brightens this lightly abraded near-Mint No Motto Liberty twenty. The wing tips and the highpoints of Liberty's hair exhibit only the slightest friction. Both sides display brilliant yellow-gold surfaces. NGC has only certified 60 examples of this date in finer Mint State grades.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269D, PCGS# 8929, GSID# 9796)
