Sharply Struck 1860 Double Eagle, MS61
1860 $20 MS61 NGC. CAC. Most well known in the Type One series of double eagles is the 1861 issue; however, the 1860 is much scarcer, despite a mintage of more than half a million twenties. This piece is lustrous and sharply struck with frosty mint brilliance. Light yellow surfaces have a few minor marks on each side as expected.
