Coveted 1860-S Double Eagle, MS61
1860-S $20 MS61 PCGS. This S-mint issue of 544,950 pieces poses a significant challenge for collectors in Mint State. The boldly impressed representative offered here exhibits satiny yellow-gold surfaces with a hint of honey. While the surfaces show few individual flaws for the grade, light abrasions are present in the fields, and a set of three reed marks is noted on the neck.
