Splendid 1861 Double Eagle, MS62
1861 $20 MS62 PCGS. CAC. Dazzling cartwheel luster radiates from the orange-gold surfaces, which display lovely accents of rose patina. A couple of shallow marks limit the grade, but the strike is needle-sharp, particularly on the reverse, which shows no trace of weakness. A splendid example of this popular type coin.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269G, PCGS# 8932, GSID# 9797)
