Attractive AU55 1861-S Double Eagle
1861-S $20 AU55 NGC. Luminous gold-orange and butter-yellow shadings mingle on each side of this lovely Choice AU coin. Though light wear blends with a soft strike on the hair below Liberty's coronet, the obverse stars are well-defined. A small planchet flaw is noted between stars 2 and 3, closer to the former.From The Vegas Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
