1862-S $20 AU53 PCGS. The About Uncirculated grade level is the finest condition in which the 1862-S double eagle can be located; Mint State coins are rare. Traces of luster reside in the recesses of this yellow-gold AU53 example and the design elements are well defined except for weakness in portions of Liberty's hair.
