Rare 1863 Twenty Dollar, AU50
1863 $20 AU50 PCGS. The 1863 is one of the rarest Type One double eagles from the Philadelphia Mint (Douglas Winter and Adam Crum, 2002). This About Uncirculated specimen exhibits light yellow-gold surfaces with traces of luster in the protected areas. The design elements are fairly well defined, and each side reveals just a few minute marks.
