1863-S $20 AU53 PCGS. Large S. Yellow-gold surfaces retain traces of luster in the protected areas and exhibit well struck design elements. Each side reveals distributed light marks. This Civil War-era representative is mostly found in Extremely Fine and About Uncirculated grades. Its population was increased by the discoveries of the S.S. Republic and the S.S. Brother Jonathan.(Registry values: N1793)
