Scarce Civil War Issue
1863-S $20 AU55 PCGS. CAC. A well detailed example of this
scarce Civil War issue, the coin offered here shows only slight
touches of wear on the high points of the design. The surfaces are
a pleasing yellow-gold color, with strong hints of rose. Much
original mint luster remains, and abrasions are minimal for the
grade. Population: 76 in 55, 87 finer (8/10).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269R, PCGS# 8940, GSID# 9903)
