1863-S $20 AU55 PCGS. This is a historic Liberty Head twenty issue on two counts--from the first decade of coinage at the San Francisco Mint and from a large production midway through the Civil War. Light high-point wear and a few moderate abrasions, more prominent on the obverse, point to a short spate in circulation, but considerable luster and appeal are present. Population: 73 in 55, 91 finer (4/10).(Registry values: N1793)
