Bright 1864-S Double Eagle, MS61
1864-S $20 MS61 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. The bright yellow-gold surfaces of this MS61 twenty retain nearly full luster, and the design elements are quite strong save for the usual softness in portions of Liberty's hair. A few light marks and grazes are scattered over each side. Census: 32 S.S. Republic coins in 61, 19 finer (7/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269T, PCGS# 8942, GSID# 9904)
