    Description

    1865 Twenty Dollar, MS61
    Unusually Attractive for the Grade

1865 $20 MS61 NGC. This is a thoroughly luminous Mint State example of a conditionally challenging Philadelphia issue. Well-detailed design elements complement remarkably smooth, frosty surfaces that show a pleasing cartwheel effect. Unobtrusive slide marks on the high points of the devices limit the grade. The 1865 double eagle is only occasionally available in Uncirculated condition.(Registry values: N4719)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 269U, PCGS# 8943)

    Weight: 33.44 grams
