1865-S $20 MS63 PCGS. Ex: Brother Jonathan 739. The S.S. Brother Jonathan was lost at sea July 30, 1865, and in addition to a considerable loss of life there was a significant amount of gold lost. The salvage of the gold considerably increased the availability of Type One twenties in mint condition. This piece has soft, frosted luster, and there are no abrasions of note on either side. Well but not fully struck.(Registry values: N2998)
