1866-S $20 Motto AU58 ICG. The modest friction visible on each side of this first-year Motto San Francisco double eagle has scarcely dimmed its wheat and yellow-gold luster. While the obverse shows a number of moderate abrasions, its eye appeal remains strong. The 1866-S Motto is available for a price in grades through AU58, but Mint State coins are rarities.
