Eye-Catching 1867-S Double Eagle, AU58
1867-S $20 AU58 NGC. A great example of a Type Two S-mint twenty, this piece has only a hint of wear and a few shallow marks on Liberty's chin and cheek. Dazzling luster gives this piece great eye appeal and the reverse is particularly resplendent. NGC has certified only 20 pieces finer than this remarkable specimen (8/08).Ex: Bowers and Merena (10/87), lot 2048. (Registry values: P6)
