1868-S $20 AU55 PCGS. A softly struck Type Two double eagle that offers surprisingly strong luster in the pale yellow-gold fields. Only minor wear is present on the high points, and relatively few flaws are noted in the fields. Despite this issue's mintage of over 800,000 pieces, it is elusive even in better circulated grades.
