Description
1869 Double Eagle, MS60
Remarkably Vibrant
1869 $20 MS60 PCGS. A less often seen Type Two Philadelphia
issue, rare in Mint State. This example is moderately abraded, as

semiprooflike mirroring, while the design elements are well-struck
and frosty. Delicate honey-gold patina adds a degree of warmth to
each side. Population: 5 in 60, 25 finer (12/14).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26A5, PCGS# 8955, Greysheet# 9806)
