    Description

    1872 Liberty Twenty, AU58
    Very Scarce Type Two Example

1872 $20 AU58 PCGS. Seldom seen above XF condition, the 1872 had a small mintage of just 251,850 pieces. Uncirculated pieces are notably scarce. This near-Mint State example is minimally abraded with considerable semiprooflike reflectivity in the fields. The strike remains sharp on the motifs. Attractive orange-gold coloration with plentiful mint luster survives on both sides. This is a great Type Two example for the perceptive type or series collector.(Registry values: N991) (NGC ID# 26AD, PCGS# 8963)

    Weight: 33.44 grams
