The 1873 Open 3 becomes scarce in Select condition, and only seven coins have been certified in higher numeric grades by PCGS and NGC combined (6/10). The present coin is an appealing Select example, with just a little softness showing on Liberty's hair and a few minor handling marks on both sides.
