1874 Liberty Double Eagle, MS62
Only One Finer Coin at NGC
1874 $20 MS62 NGC. The Philadelphia Mint struck an adequate
business-strike mintage of 366,780 Type Two Liberty double eagles
in 1874, but the issue is definitely scarce in grades above the
MS61 level. This impressive MS62 piece offers sharply detailed
design elements and the lustrous orange-gold surfaces are lightly
