Lustrous MS61 1874-S Double Eagle
1874-S $20 MS61 NGC. An unworn and pleasingly lustrous survivor from this Type Two S-mint double eagle issue, elusive despite a mintage of over 1.2 million pieces. Though the yellow-gold surfaces show numerous light to moderate abrasions, this well struck coin retains considerable eye appeal.
