Shining MS62 1874-S Double Eagle
1874-S $20 MS62 NGC. The 1874-S double eagle is an issue that circulated heavily; it is a borderline condition rarity in MS62 and is very rare in Select and better grades. While this piece has numerous light abrasions and a scrape in the field to the left of Liberty's neck, its pleasing strike and strong yellow-gold luster cement its eye appeal.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AR, PCGS# 8972, GSID# 9921)
