Description

Unworn 1875-CC Double Eagle

1875-CC $20 --Altered Surfaces--ANACS. MS60 Details. Considerable frostiness clings to the portrait, and the eagle has generally appreciable detail. The primarily yellow-gold surfaces offer considerable luster, though the excessive purplish alloy in and around the reverse glory leads to questions about the coin's originality. Still, it displays beautifully.(Registry values: N1793)
