Description

Attractive, Semi-Prooflike 1875-CC Twenty, MS62

1875-CC $20 MS62 NGC. While one of the more frequently encountered CC twenties, and especially from the 1870s, the 1875-CC has added appeal as a Type Two. This bolsters both the demand and price for this issue far beyond its availability as a CC type coin. This is an exceptionally pleasing example that has bright, semi-prooflike fields and a stronger strike than usually seen on Type Two twenties. A lustrous, medium orange-gold coin with only small abrasions scattered about.(Registry values: N4719)
