1876 $20 MS61 NGC. Ex: Granite Lady Hoard. The Philadelphia
Mint struck an adequate business-strike mintage of 583,860 Liberty
double eagles in 1876, the final year of the Type Two design,
making the issue a popular choice with type collectors. This
impressive MS61 example displays sharply detailed design elements
and lustrous orange-gold surfaces that show the expected number of
