Semireflective 1876 Double Eagle, MS62
1876 $20 MS62 PCGS. CAC. Light Motto. The semireflective orange-gold surfaces of this MS62 Centennial issue radiate broad eye appeal, with a strike that is uniformly bold throughout. The obverse displays only a few light ticks, while the reverse shows a couple of scrapes in the shield area that require singular mention and appear to preclude an even finer grade. NGC has certified 52 pieces finer (8/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AV, PCGS# 8976, GSID# 9814)
