Description

1876 Twenty Dollar, MS62
Scarce Any Finer

1876 $20 MS62 PCGS. The surfaces of this scarce, final-year, Type Two P-mint twenty display scattered light marks, yet the coin is notable for its frosty, bright luster and mint-fresh eye appeal. While the 1876 is available in circulated grades and in the lowest Mint State categories, it is seldom seen finer than this MS62 coin. NGC reports a mere 51 numerically finer examples plus three in 62+ and one in 62★ (12/24).(Registry values: N2998)
