1876-CC $20 AU55 PCGS. The bright greenish-gold surfaces of this Choice AU double eagle are relatively lightly abraded, an unusual circumstance for the 1876-CC. The strike is sharp on the reverse and on the obverse stars, but a little softness shows on Liberty's hair. Only slight wear shows on the devices, and the delightful semiprooflike mint luster creates intense eye appeal.(Registry values: N1793)
