Description
Attractive 1876-CC Twenty Dollar, AU58
1876-CC $20 AU58 PCGS. The vast majority of 1876-CC double eagles extant today are in the Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated grade levels. Mint State survivors are primarily in the very lower levels thereof, mainly because of bag marks. This near-Mint State specimen displays attractive peach-gold color with greenish imprints. Its design features are well impressed, and scattered minute marks are in line with a heavy gold coin that saw brief circulation.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AW, PCGS# 8977, GSID# 9924)
