Description
Sharp 1876-CC Double Eagle, MS60
1876-CC $20 MS60 PCGS. Splashes of subtle green color visit the yellow-gold surfaces of this Uncirculated double eagle, and a better-than-average strike imparts good detail to the devices, including the obverse star centers. Prooflike fields, especially on the obverse, highlight the design elements at various angles. Distributed marks may well be fewer than expected for the MS60 grade. The coin reposes in a green label holder. From The E.J. Mutton Collection of U.S. Gold, Part Two.(Registry values: N2998)
